When in last June of 2011, this site was created, my aim and objective was for the Essex council to sort out the road signs anomalies. Indeed it did attract local press attention and there was a short article. However, six months on, nothing had been done by the Council. A letter was drafted and posted to our local MP the Rt Hon Mark Francois. Mark agreed with the current situation and wrote to the council on my behalf. A reply was sent back to our MP. In it it stated that the council will endeavour to rectify the signs highlighted by the end of this financial year (April 2012) However, as an instructor on my travels, I have yet again come across more misleading signs.....so watch this space. Tariq DSA ADI 04th February 2012. As of 29th April 2013 it has been two years since I started my raod signs campaign. I have found more anomalies around Basidlon and one in Southend on sea. Plesae see the latest picture gallery. I then pursued this matter once again with my MP, the Rt Hon Mark Francois. I was successful in receiving a reply from Essex Highways and Transportation. They identified the flaws and agreed with my findings. The work will begin soon and all the anomalies identified on my site ought to be rectified.However, as a proactive DSA Master ADI, I have found more flaws....so watch this space.
